The area has at times been called the home of all inclusive vacations due to the high proportion of that type of vacation package compared to other packages. It is still a matter of debate as to why the Caribbean is so popular for all inclusive vacations; in fact more are booked on this basis than those for bed and breakfast only. Many people believe that it is due to a drive to attract a greater number of tourists to the area,though there is no real evidence that there has ever been a need to do this.

The chances are that this popularity is a result of the ease with which people can book the all inclusive Caribbean vacations,this is true against normal room only or fly-drive vacations. Vacations in the Caribbean can be designed completely to the needs of the individual and are therefore very attractive to many visitors. Some visitors only require flights to the Caribbean as they are visiting relations,there is no reason to book anything but the flight as they will have accommodation and meals already arranged with their family.

In all likelihood, the people going to the islands will book an all inclusive Caribbean vacation to make the trip less expensive than arranging it in any other way. Owing to the number of vacations booked this way through travel operators it is often less expensive than trying to arrange it for your self,Of course travelers who like to arrange everything them self, would not consider such an option even if the vacation were ‘to die for’. The biggest problem for most people is precisely what they can expect to be given in an all inclusive package.

Room costs will always been included in every rate quoted for a vacation, but that’s the only constant between every package. Though the meals are included in these types of vacations, it is not necessarily in others,a lot depends on what type of vacation is being offered. Even today, some visitors are not sure of the difference between an all inclusive vacation and a full board package.

The main difference is that an all-inclusive Caribbean vacation will always include all food and drinks, where a full-board vacation only, generally speaking, includes breakfast, lunch and an evening meal. Some hotels also offer special vouchers which can be used at other hotels, restaurants and clubs,normally there will be an additional (usually lower) cost attached nevertheless. For a person or family booked on an all inclusive Caribbean vacation, there is little to pay,normally entertainment and, very often excursions, are all part of the price, which makes it easier to enjoy a beautiful location without having to carry any money around.
