The Best Of Your France Tour

by Alison Addy

This article talks about a tour of France as well as places to go and things to do while in France.

France Holiday Vacations and Activities While There

France has the reputation for being one of the most romantic places in the world. You’ll have so many things to do and see in France, you’ll wish you could live there for a year just to see and enjoy the main attractions. However, as great as it sounds, vacations don’t last that long so you’ll have to plan your vacation around some of the best attractions. Make sure the best attractions are also the things that interest you and your family the most so you can make the best of your France holiday vacation.

One of the most important things to consider when planning your vacation is to not “overplan” your time. In other words, allow so much time for each activity so you aren’t rushed while you’re enjoying certain things in France. Although there are numerous interesting places and activities, some will take up more of your time than others so plan accordingly. You don’t want to return home only to say you really didn’t see much because you were always rushed.

Things to Do During Your France Holiday Vacation

From your first day of vacation, plan what places you want to see. For instance, if museums are on your list of “must see”, do research on all the museums in the area in rank of importance to you. Then resort them according to location so you’re not backtracking and wasting a lot of time traveling from museum to museum. Accept the fact, also, that you will not see all the French museums in one day.

France is known for its beautiful beaches so you’ll want to research them well. Perhaps there is a beautiful beach near where you’re staying. This will save a lot of time and energy. You’ll probably want to spend at least one whole afternoon on the beach. Don’t forget your sunscreen. Although you want to go home tanned, you don’t want to be burned.

You cannot visit France without checking out some of their great shopping. Whether it’s huge malls or small boutiques, shopping is a must while in France. Many of the shopping centers in France are open late so you can plan these for the evenings when the sightseeing is done.

Bike tours are becoming very popular while vacationing abroad. A Provence Bike Tour will take you past many attractions, is affordable and a lot of fun. You may want to schedule these ahead of time in case reservations are required.
