However, if you are interested in learning more about life on the island a visit to the fishing village of Kailua-Kona a short walk from the hotel will be perfect. However, there is much more you can do whilst staying at this hotel such as visit Captain Cook’s Monument, the Hulihee Palace of the Kahaluu Beach Park.
3. Hilo Seaside Hotel – Again situated on Big Island this hotel is on the eastern side of the island and you are only a few minutes’ walk from Hilo Bay. Also only a 40 minute drive from the hotel you will find Hawaii’s Volcano National Park where you can spend time admiring Kilauea Volcano which is still active.
However, if you really just want to relax then enjoy time wandering around the hotels lush tropical gardens or just taking a dip in its outdoor swimming pools. Unlike the other hotels we mention in this article this hotel in Hawaii has a distinctly Polynesian feel to it.
